WordPress protected pages and NGINX Caching
-
The change to the new cPanel Forums has cleared out some of the original replies.
NGINX was installed following the standard WHM instructions found at https://docs.cpanel.net/knowledge-base/web-services/nginx-with-reverse-proxy/.
From what I understand WordPress sets a cookie when a page is password protected.
In theory I would be able to add a map directive for NGINX to bypass the cache it this is found. However the WHM guide states that the nginx.conf should not be edited.
Is there another way to achieve the same result?

Anyone had the same challenge?

I feel like a vaguely remember this coming up recently - didn't we decide that a ticket was the best plan of action so we could reproduce the issue on our end?

Hi cPRex we are encountering this same issue! Was there a solution cooked up or would we be best to open a ticket as well? It seems there's probably a conf or module we could deploy rather than treating this as a bug but we're just unclear which direction to go. Thanks for any advice!

I don't see that the OP opened a ticket, or if they did it wasn't mentioned here, so if you can reproduce this issue it would likely be best to create a ticket on this as well to see if you can get some answers.
