License Transfer to another cPanel Account

Hi! I would like to ask if transferring of license from one account to another is possible? Here's the thing, we actually handle our customers licenses for their servers. And now, they decided to create their own cPanel account so they will manage their licenses from their end. Server and IP won't change. Only the ownership of the license will be transferred. Or is it possible to cancel the license in our account and purchase new license on their account with the same IP? Is this possible? Hoping for a right answer. Thank you!

  Cancel the license in your account and purchase a new license on their account with the same IP Then if needed execute the following command: # /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt

  What @kodeslogic said is likely the fastest path. We wouldn't recommend anything different on our side.

  What happens to the websites being hosted during the cancel and renewal process?

  Nothing at all - websites are not affected by the license change.
