Hello :) I moved this post to it's own thread. Please check the log files in: /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup/ Are there any references to the account that is not backed up? Thank you.

Hi Michael, yes.. there are references to the account in 4 of the 11 files in that directory.

Do you notice any error messages when the account is backed up? Please post any such errors to this thread so we can get a better understanding of why it's failing. Thank you.

Thanks Michael, not seeing any error messages. as a matter of fact it looks like the file is being archived. If I knew where the backups are being stored on the server, I would look there to see if there are any files.. but, as far as FTP goes, the file for that account is not being sent to the FTP server.

The remote destination transfer log is located at: /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup_transporter.log
Check this file to see if there are any problems with the transfer itself. Thank you.

ok, just found the hidden directory backups.. in it would you believe is exactly one tarball in the accounts subdirectory.. the one I am missing.. So, none of the other accounts are being stored locally in backups and the one account that isnt making it to the FTP server is being stored locally.. WTF???

Well, it did the same thing again. skipped the one account directory and created the empty cpanel with subdirectories.. I have pruned the transporter log down to today only and attached it.. There is the automated after midnight run then there is another manual run this morning around 8am.. Perhaps the mystery is in that file somewhere? See attached..

To update, it appears the backups are now successfully uploaded to the remote FTP server after increasing the timeout value in the backup configuration page in WHM. Thank you.

It looks like two tickets are open for separate issues. Feel free to let us know the outcome when both of the tickets have been resolved. Thank you.
