cPanel 11.40 update?
I noticed there was an update for cPanel 11.38 and cPanel 11.42 on February 26th. But no update was made to 11.40. I guess I'm just curious as to why something was updated in 11.38 and 11.42 but not in 11.40. Or was this an oversight?

Hello, You most likely overlooked it. 11.40 was released to the EDGE and CURRENT and RELEASE and even STABLE release. You must have just missed the notice. Make sure you have your updates set to update nightly and that you have all the required updates (MySQL 5.1 or higher) etc. If your updates are currently set to Manual, then you would not be automatically updated. 0 -
I really think you have too many versions of cPanel that you are "supporting". 11.38, 11.40, and 11.42 are all supported versions of cPanel, correct? (Support for 11.38 is ending in April, correct? - - down under the LTS releases: 11.38 11.38.2.21 Wed Feb 26 23:19:56 2014 11.40 11.40.1.11 Tue Feb 4 23:08:11 2014 11.42 11.42.0.15 Wed Feb 26 23:19:56 2014 Note that 11.38 was updated on February 26. 11.42 was updated on February 26. But the last update to 11.40 was February 4th. This may be completely by designed. I don't really know what changed on February 26th. But I just thought it was strange that 11.38 was updated, 11.40 was not, but 11.42 was updated. You skipped a version in there. 0 -
Hello :) You will not always see simultaneous updates to each version of cPanel/WHM that's supported. For instance, you do not see a recent 11.40 build because the case numbers referenced in the recent 11.38 update are already included in cPanel version 11.40. Sometimes an internal case will only apply to a specific version. It's very possible that a bug associated with 11.42 does not apply to 11.38. Thank you. 0 -
