Upgraded to Apache 2.4.7 and now Server 500 error

One of my sites htaccess had this: SetEnv HTTP_MOD_REWRITE On This throws a 500 server error. It was never a problem before on the 2.2 apache. Any idea why? Nothing changed other then upgrading to apache 2.4.7

  How did you upgrade cPanel server to apache 2.4.7?

  @Chipmank - I believe that's a typo, as the latest version through cPanel is 2.4.46.
