cPanel 11.40 - EOL
-
Hello :) The lifespan of a release is typically 12 months from the initial publication of the production version, however that period may be extended at the discretion of cPanel. This puts the lifespan of version 11.40 through around November of 2014. Thank you. 0 -

I'm curious to hear more about the issues / complaints, care to explain a bit more?0 -

Mostly related to Horde and the changes it made. Most clients just don't like change. But it's what you've got to do to stay on top of security issues. One reason why I hold off on upgrading to as long as possible is to make sure most of the kinks have been ironed out. For some reason I thought 11.40 was reaching EOL, so it's one of the reasons why I did the upgrade today. Not a huge deal, since the 11.42 upgrade was going to have to happen at some point.0 -

Agreed. Change catches on though, Horde did for me. I'm using Horde more than I ever have now days. I can still remember, I'm sure you can too, when everyone around the forums wanted Roundcube and we got it. I'm back to Horde and liking it just fine. :)0
