Question about Cache?
Hi Everyone!
A weird issue exists where I have a client that informed us that he gets a SSL expired error in his email client, outlook.
I checked on the server under "Manage Service SSL Certificates" with a colleague and see that it states all the SSLs have been updated to the new one which expires in 2014 only.
cPanel/WHM/Webmail Service
Issuer: C = GB, ST = Greater Manchester, L = Salford, O = COMODO CA Limited, CN = EssentialSSL CA
Not Before: Sep 5 00:00:00 2013 GMT
Not After: Oct 5 23:59:59 2014 GMT
Subject: OU = Domain Control Validated, OU = EssentialSSL Wildcard,
Self Signed: NO
Any ideas as to why the client is getting these popups. He sais it occurs on various PCs. Is there some caching on exim or dovecot that somehow needs to be cleared for clients to start using the new SSL we added last month?
Thanks for help!

You say that this happens in his email client, so you would likely want to check the SSL certificate on the Dovecot service. However, the certificate details that you pasted above for the cPanel/WHM/Webmail service does seem to indicate an expired cert. Not After: Oct 5 23:59:59 2014 GMT
Today's date: Oct 8 2014 I would check that the correct certificate is installed in "Manage Service SSL Certificates" and then restart the Dovecot service.0 -
Hello :) Yes, the certificate details you provided show that it's expired. The same certificate is likely used for Dovecot, so you would need to install an updated certificate for that service. Thank you. 0
