Hello :) This is referenced in the 11.44 release notes: Improved notifications Email notifications that your system sends through the Contact Manager interface settings now fully support UTF-8 encoding in both the Subject header and message bodies.
Could you elaborate on how this conflicts with automatic email parsing? Thank you.

Says it supports UTF8. Doesn't say that there is anyway to turn this off or change it. Or is there a way to change this? I didn't see anything in the Contact Manager. We use procmail on an internal server to sort out mail based on subject lines. New Accounts, Terminated Accounts, Suspended Accounts, etc. Because the subject lines are now UTF8 encoded, procmail doesn't read the subjects as "New Account on..." any more instead you get a subject line of =?utf-8?B?TmV3IEFjY291bnQgb24. I will have to go through all of our procmail rules and adjust these. Would prefer to have the email messages sent in ASCII or plain format so that they are directly readable by procmail.

I don't believe it's possible to modify the new behavior. I suggest opening a feature request for the ability to modify those notifications via: Submit A Feature Request Thank you.
