email client fails to connect
We have a custom piece of software sitting on our internal lan, which produces sales order confirmations and then emails the customer.
It might do this every 5 minutes, sometimes sending just one email, or maybe as many as 10.
Every so often, this software halts, with a "failed to connect to server" message, which basically means, it cannot connect to the mail server.
Now i know, this could be a multitude of things, but i was wondering if there might be any logs on the mailserver that i could look at, potentially as it happens.
