Files not accessible via domain

Hi, I am new here and not an expert in the game. I am stuck and need your help. I had set a VPS with godaddy. Have resellers, user accounts, etc... In one account I am not able to see the files via the pointed domains... domain/index.html is not loading... host/~uname/index.html is working fine... No .htaccess is set. Can you please let me know other possible reasons please... Thanks in advance Norbu

  using something like MXTOOLBOX.com, can you see that DNS has propagated.

  I am able to access domain/cpanel and domain/whm but not domain/index.php Even pinging the domain is giving the desired ip...

  Just to be certain, you have a public_html folder and index.php is in there. Failing that, have you tried clearing the browser cache. ?

  Hello :) Do you notice any error messages when accessing the website? Did you upload your website files to the public_html directory of the account? Thank you.

  To update, this was corrected by updating the document root to the user's preferred path in the cPanel user data file for this domain name, and then rebuilding the Apache configuration file via:
  /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf
