Really confused with SSL cert

For my hostname server (of which only me will have access), i'm currently using a self signed cert. For my main domain (the company i work for), i purchased a cert. (call this a customer) Now this is where i'm struggling. If i go to http://www.customerdomain.com/webmail, it's picking up my self signed certificate and redirecting me to https://hostname.serverdomain.com Thinking there was an issue with the purchased certificate, I removed them both and started again. Low an behold, https://www.customerdomain.com/webmail now works. However, when i try to log in to WHM on https://hostname.serverdomain.com:2087, it's now picking up the customer certificate and redirecting me the other way. This only seems to happen when i go to WHM login though. So If i go to https://www.serverdomain.com, it picks up the hostname self signed cert. As soon as I add :2087, it picks up the cert for the customer domain. Just to compound this. If i go to https://www.serverdomain.com/host/whm, it picks up the self signed cert. I'm well and truly confused.

  You might want to check your Redirect settings, here: WHM " Server Configuration " Tweak Settings, Redirection tab.

  I've played with those settings until i'm blue in the face, tried every combination, and i can't get this to work. Am i correct in assuming, that if the customer domain has his own SSL, then he should be able to connect to his own Cpanel or WebMail using his own SSL certificate. As at the moment when he connects, he's seeing the certificate allocated to the host name.

  The server (cPanel, Webmail) use the servers SSL. Customer domain and all things in it, uses customers SSL for that domain.

  So the customers webmail and cpanel are not in his domain. ?

  I have a cpanel hosted plan with Host papa. When I go to domain.com/Webmail. This is exactly where I land. I'm not forwarded to hostpapa.com:2087. So how come I am on my dedicated server.

  What is currently configured under the "Redirection" tab in "WHM >> Tweak Settings"? Also, under the "Security" tab, is "Require SSL" enabled? Thank you.
