] Is there a way I can block the username that is being used? in reports it does list "Blocked users",which is empty but I can't see how to add that user..

Hello :) To clarify, are you attempting to automatically block IP addresses when any login attempts are made on a particular username? Thank you.

He wasn't but I am. :) There are a few usernames that I know for SURE aren't active or can be used as honeypots. I'm not sure if it's possible, but I think it would be useful (and not prone to abuse) if certain usernames automatically trigger a blacklist on an IP. Thanks.

There are no native features in cPanel/WHM or cPHulk that will automatically block requests on specific usernames. You are welcome to submit a feature request for this via: Submit A Feature Request Thank you.

Thanks - it appears that CSF does roughly what I need it to do regarding the usernames so I no longer need it in CPhulk.

All my users, are internal users. All of which have no access to webmail, and only use email client software. Outlook, Thunderbird etc. All of which, have no idea what thier email passwords are. I have CSF configured for 3 failed logins and your'e blocked. This works for me. Anyone trying to log in to a dormant account or one which never existed can't get in anyway, and then get blocked.
