Remote mysql server upgrade

I using remote mysql server on cpanel, i want to upgrade from 5.0 to the last stable and supported version. Because of remote mysql server, i cant updrade with WHM. What i should do?

  No, upgrading MySQL will not delete your databases. However, as mentioned in the document I provided, before any upgrade, back up your databases, including the mysql database that contains the grant tables. Thank you.

  I have problem on upgrade, any idea?
