Question About MySQL Version Installed
Hello everyone on the Forum,
Here is my problem. Having installed and whm cpanel which originally had Mysql 5.0.10.
I wanted to change for version 5.6.
Everything is good but there lies a mistake I do not understand and I would like to rectify.
My WHM shows: MySQL 5.6
papMyAdmin displayed: MySQL 5.6
Out on the page of my Web site root (public_html / www) with a php info.
This brings me Mysql 5.0.10
How to fix this problem so that at www, Mysql is the same (5.6)
Pending answers
Best regards
Patrick
ps: sorry for my bad English because I am not master French and English

Good evening, Here is the answer: MySQL56-client-5.6.23-3.cp1148.x86_64 cpanel-perl-514-MySQL-Diff-0.43-4.cp1146.x86_64 MySQL56-server-5.6.23-3.cp1148.x86_64 compat-MySQL50-shared-5.0.96-4.cp1136.x86_64 MySQL56-shared-5.6.23-3.cp1148.x86_64 MySQL56-test-5.6.23-3.cp1148.x86_64 compat-MySQL51-shared-5.1.73-1.cp1150.x86_64 MySQL56-devel-5.6.23-3.cp1148.x86_64 [Removed URL] Mysql 5.0.10 0 -
I suggest rebuilding Apache/PHP via EasyApache to address this issue: "WHM >> Software >> EasyApache" Thank you. 0 -
This is what I have done already! Thank you. 0 -
Try moving the custom php.ini file from the account's public_html out of the way to see if the issue persists when using /usr/local/lib/php.ini. It's possible the local php.ini file is outdated. Thank you. 0 -
I went on /usr/local/lib/php.ini I have 2 files php.ini and php.ini, v 0 -
I'm not sure I understand your previous response. The initial URL you posted with your PHPINFO page showed the php.ini utilized was stored in the account's public_html directory. I'm suggesting that you move it out of the way so that /usr/local/lib/php.ini is used instead. Thank you. 0 -
Hello, If I understood correctly: I just move /usr/local/lib/php.ini (php.ini) and I placed it on my test url http: ftp domain.com/test.php in the public_html folder / www. And always the same. Mysql 5.0.10 is not the 5.6 Best regards And I thank you for being there to help me and give advice 0 -
No, I am stating that you should temporarily move /home/$username/public_html/php.ini out of the way and see if you still receive the same result. Thank you. 0 -
By cons I also wanted to add, since it can be to the importance to use MySql 5.6. I have PHP version Version 5.4.44 Maybe it is inconsistent to run MySQL 5.6 0 -
So I removed the php.ini file (/home/$username/public_html/php.ini) ... I redid the test with phpinfo ... And always the same MySQL 5.0.10 0 -
Feel free to open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look. You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Thank you. 0 -
I just created a support ticket. By cons I do not know what I should do on WHM, ras ip ssh key and complex ... It is for me. There would not it another way and give you direct access identifier with my MP? Also I do not really master English, which makes things even more difficult 0 -
SSH test statuses This interface displays the following status information: Erreur : The SSH test failed with the following error: "NOAUTHDATA" For more information, read our Grant cPanel Support Accessdocumentation. 0 -
Was the link to that document in the error message helpful? Thank you. 0 -
Hello :) To update, the issue was not reproducible on the user's system (the phpinfo file was not accessible). The user was advised to run EasyApache to see if the issue continued. Thank you. 0 -
I thought phpinfo() always displayed a much older version of MySQL than is actually running. Under the MySQL block under phpinfo, mine says: Client API version 5.5.42 However under other sections, it says: PDO Driver for MySQL Client API version mysqlnd 5.0.10 mysqlnd Version mysqlnd 5.0.10 - 20111026 Never had a problem. 0 -
Yes, your point is that the user is not viewing the MySQL version but rather information about the MySQL native driver. I was simply posting more information about the MySQL native driver to further clarify that to the original poster. Thank you. 0
