Server replied: 550 Verification failed for <contact@olddomain.com>
through WHM the account was modified.
to be more precise the domain was modified.
every service was restarted.
emails changed accordingly form contact@olddomain.com to contact@newdomain.com
the website works properly with new domain.
however i cant send emails form new email address contact@newdomain.com
it gives an error like
ERROR
Message not sent.
Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable
Server replied: 550 Verification failed for
The mail server could not deliver mail to contact@olddomain.com. The account or domain may not exist, they may be blacklisted, or missing the proper dns entries.
Sender verify failed

I think i once encountered something similar and ended up deleting and recreating the email addresses. 0 -
that seems like the obvious solution but i search for a more complex one i've noticed that squirrel client makes the issue not horde client 0 -
Hello :) Is the previous domain name added to the account or the same server, or is it hosted on a remote mail server? Make sure the domain name does not exist in /etc/localdomains if it's email is not handled by the local server. Thank you. 0
