Website moved from one server to another
Hi
I have a shared hosting plan with a hosting company. This morning, they informed me that they have moved my website from one server to another because of a problem with the cPanel (for some reason, it would not allow me to take full backups of my website). So, they moved my site to another server, and they told me to change the DNS. I did that and I have been waiting for an entire day, but my domain currently redirects to:
(my-domain)(dot)(extension)/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi
and all I see is this page (screenshot below):
- Removed -
It is not a problem of my ISP because all the members of my website (who are from various countries) see the same error page (they told me on skype).
My hosting company told me to wait. For how long? What is the problem?

You might check your domain for issues from a website like this one: intodns.com Domains can take time to propagate. 0 -
Propogation can take up to 48 hours. However, generally, i would expect to start to see some results within 20-30 minutes if i'm being honest. From my experinece, defaultwebpage.cgi would generally indicate that your index.html is missing and that the site is using the cpanel in built one. 0
