SPF records on server hostname?

    SPF is a verification process. The receiving server (ie Hotmail), will check your SPF records to see if your domain is authorised to send emails. I guess it's quite possible that if you don't have any SPF records, then Hotmail may block you. SPF would certainly be good practice. If you log in to Cpanel for that domain, you should be able to enable SPF from there which will add the correct DNS entries.

    SPF is deprecated. But in any case, it wouldn't really hurt. We use a basic SPF for all of our server hostnames.
