EA4 disable auto update
Is there a way to disable EasyApache4 automatic updates?
From the looks of it, EasyApache4 is updated automatically during the nightly upcp run if RPMUP is set to daily.
While I appreciate the ease of updates with EasyApache4 and the RPM structure, I'm not sure if automatic updates is wise.
I suppose setting RPMUP to manual might be a better overall solution anyway, so that no packages (not just EA4) are updated automatically. Then run a daily check to see if any packages need updating.

Hi, You can set RPMUP to manual, but no system packages will update unless you run 'yum update'. However, automatic updates are one of the primary features of EA4, so I wouldn't recommend disabling those updates. 0 -
Hello, Disable x-php-script post suggests building custom RPM to disable PHP mailheaders. With auto-updates enabled, these custom RPMs will be overwritten. What do you recommend to avoid this problem? Thank you, Lijeesh SubHosting.net 0 -
Hi, What type of custom RPMs are you running? Are you overwriting our PHP RPMs, or something else? Automatic updates shouldn't overwrite those packages, but it all depends on how you have it setup. 0 -
Automatic updates shouldn't overwrite those packages. I want my data auto update in cpanel on my website [Moderation Note: Please avoid links per Guide To Opening An Effective Forums Thread]. 0
