Error in users cpanel when trying to change php version
When in the users cpanel if you choose "change php version" icon.
On that page it does not work and says:
"User blahblah not in CageFS"
So I installed cagesf
But it still shows the error.
Any idea how to fix that?

I needed to enable cagefs from WHM. But now I get this error: Config file (Cannot read /etc/cl.selector/selector.conf: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/etc/cl.selector/selector.conf'. Native used) not found Is this option not ready to be used? 0 -
Thanks, the issue is in CPanel not CloudLinux. It's the PHP Changing tool in CPanel that does not work. That would be like saying contact apache, because easy apache is not working. 0 -
The PHP Selector program is part of CloudLinux. Just because it's in the cPanel doesn't mean that it's cPanel's duty to support. I suppose it's possible that someone from cPanel might be able to help, but contacting CloudLinux is also an option and potentially a better option. 0 -
Thanks again, yeah I'll contact them. Just hoping CPanel or someone here might know what's up. I can't be the first person to do multiple php with cloudlinux. 0 -

Hello @DWHS.net, Were you able to address this issue? There's a thread here where the same error message was reported: cPanel CloudLinux PHP Selector The user addressed the issue by running the "yum groupinstall alt-php*" command. Thank you. 0 -
Yes, I guess you need a special php selector plug in from cloud linux. " PHP Selector was not installed on your server. I had installed it according to this article: CloudLinux Documentation " 0 -
I'm happy to see the issue is now addressed. Thanks for updating this thread with the outcome. 0
