Hi,
I have successfully added autoSSL ceritficates for all domains . I noticed that it adds certificates for the all subdomains automatically, but how to add smtp.XXXX.XX host for all domains in the certificate without create subdomains for each account??

Hello, The subdomain name must exist in order for the domain validation process to succeed. Thank you. 0 -

You could use hooks to automatically run a custom script after account creation: When developing the custom script, you could make use of the following cPanel API 2 function: cPanel API 2 Functions - SubDomain::addsubdomain - Software Development Kit - cPanel Documentation Thank you.0 -
sorry i write on old thread but i want to know if now there is a simpler way to have autossl for alternatives service hostname (es. pop3,smtp,etc) thanks 0 -
The process would still be the same, as the subdomain would have to exist in order for AutoSSL to add it. 0 -
I have a similar issue - the root domain is "foobar.com" (fictitious), and the server name (hostname) is 'host' (host.foobar.com). AutoSSL has created cert for: - foobar.com - webmail.foobar.com - cpanel.foobar.com - etc (the standard cPanel subdomains). But NOT for 'host.foobar.com'. The subdomain 'host.foobar.com' has been created and is resolvable. How do I get AutoSSL to add the hostname 'host' ? (Using cPanel/Sectigo provider). Thanks! 0 -
you must create a virtual host named host.foobar.com and autossl generate it automatically. add a subdomain in cpanel the only way now 0 -

Thanks, that make sense, but I could not create a subdomain for the 'host.foobar.com' because cPanel said that is the hostname, and it won't create a subdomain for hostnames.0 -
and what about purshase third party wildcard certificate ? may be you can install on hostname you want 0 -
@vpswing - what error do you get from AutoSSL about the hostname certificate? 0
