Spamassassin scan message from backup mx

Hi,

According to this article, mails from Backup MX servers are not scanned by SpamAssassin: https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/1500001493921-Backup-MX-Email-Bypasses-Spam-Filters

But I've found this in Exim Advanced (spam_scan_secondarymx):

What does this code do?

  Hey there!  That setting would seem to contradict that support article.  I've flagged the article for review in our system so our team will be looking at that soon!

  But let me clarify that indeed mails coming from MX backups are not scanned by Spamassassin, so the article is right.

  I would like to know then if that code is for another thing or if it's faulty.
