Okay, it appears there is a conflict between MariaDB and the MySQL files - which database system should the server be running?

Have you been to the URL as detailed:

    [2023-12-15 07:41:42 +0100]   see https://go.cpanel.net/rpmcheckfailed for more information

(specifically the bit about conflicting RPMs - https://docs.cpanel.net/knowledge-base/general-systems-administration/rpm-installation-failures/#rpm-conflicts ) ? Were you able to resolve the issue following those steps?

    Hi,

I have resolved the problem by executing the following steps:

I edited the file at var/cpanel/cpanel.config and changed mysql-version=10.6

Then, I ran the following command:

    /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/update_local_rpm_versions --edit target_settings.MariaDB106 installed

Once this was done, the update worked perfectly without any issues.

I'm glad you came up with a good workaround, although it's odd those files were out of sync.  If you need anything else, just let us know!
