Websites Become Unresponsive when Adding/Removing Accounts
Hello Whenever I try to add or remove an account in cPanel, my websites become unresponsive for several minutes. This has been causing disruptions to my server operations.
When adding or removing, starts Apache "graceful restart", and the sites become available after about 5 minutes.
Here are some additional details about my setup:
- cPanel version: [116.0.7]
- Server OS: [AlmaLinux8.9]
-
This could be quite a few things but I suspect it might be a disk problem. Can you open up Terminal from WHM and paste the output of "iostat" please?
If command not found you can install the software by running "yum install sysstat" command.

System and disk performance is fine.
The problem is that after adding/deleting an account, apache reboots, and kills connections and it takes time for all connections to be raised again, because of this the domains are unavailable for 5-10 minutes. I have about 1000 client's account0 -
Is it normal that when gracefulll reset occurs, sites are unavailable for 5 minutes?

It could be normal - with 1000 accounts it may take a while for the entire Apache configuration to load.
