Yum Locks and Easy Apache Stalled
Update Error: Timeout waiting for distro lock files related to /usr/bin/yum at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Binaries/Cmd.pm line 384.
We got the folllowing reply from the cloudlinux officials.
It is strange, because we couldn't see any current "yum" processes on your server that could be causing the lock. It's possible that during the execution of one of cPanel's tasks, a lock file was not removed, causing the error. Said lock files are typically located at "/var/cpanel/easylock" or "/var/cpanel/locks/"; however, before removing any of such files, we recommend consulting the situation with cPanel's team for further insights.

Hey there! Is the issue still happening at this time? What happens when you run "yum update" on the server?

What happens when you run this command on the system?
ps aux | grep yum
I would expect that to show something running if you are still getting the same error.
If not, it's likely best to create a ticket so we (or your host) could take a look.

I don't see that the OP had a resolution to the issue, and I'm still not seeing much on my end for this problem. It would be best to create a ticket with either us or your host so this can be investigated.
