Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender. Unable to Send emails but receving is fine.
Dear members, Hello!
I believe this topic is quite common and i have tried a number of solutions from them but no luck so far, hence creating this new topic to find a resolution.
I have been trying to send email from my cpanel mail server using roundcube webmail and for the past few days i have been receiving this error-
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
example@gmail.com
all hosts for 'gmail.com' have been failing for a long time (and retry time not reached)
Reporting-MTA: dns; venus.mydchub.com
Action: failed
Final-Recipient: rfc822;example@gmail.com
Status: 5.0.0
I have been facing this issue since 12/24/2023 and the email servers were fine a day before. Meanwhile i did not change any DNS settings nor did i change any nameservers. Additionally, i have been able to receive emails from others but while i am trying to send any, the error pops up instantly. Solutions that i have tried-
1. Tried repairing the email deliveribility.
2. Re-checked the validity of DKIM and SPF record and its all showing valid status.
I also contacted my hosting provider and they are able to throw an outgoing email from the root server. At this point i'm unable to figure out the point of issue. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Your hosting provider will need to look specifically at the mail logs because what you see in Roundcube does not provide enough details.
The mail logs will show an explanatory message along with the specific error code.
You need your provider to do this unless you have root access.

This sounds like a DNS issue. Are you able to run the following command from your system and get a response from the mailserver?
telnet gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com 25
