    To me, that indicates /var/cpanel/userdata/$username/$domain is corrupt in some small way ( $username being the customer's username and $domain being their main domain name).

    So, how to fix? I would just try making a small amendment to the account via WHM to force that file to be regenerated and see if that fixes things.

    Fixed by running this command:

    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/userdata_update
