AutoSSL DCV issue

It might be worth stating that on the same server (different account in whm setup) I have other domains that work flawlessly, it's just this one which isn't working for some reason.

Hey there!  Are you able to manually visit that pki-validation file in a browser?  If the specific .txt file no longer exits, you can just create an index page in the /home/username/public_html/pki-validation directory to test the access.  If that doesn't work, you should be able to troubleshoot from there!

Hi, thank you very much for taking the time to help out, I greatly appreciate this!

The files don't seem to be there anymore, so I created an index.html as you suggested, and this one is there and I can access it through the browser etc. without problems.

I also just tried running the AutoSSL from cPanel and the "Check domain" button in WHM and the files are not created in there currently, but I don't know if it usually deletes them automatically after trying to use them?

The cpanel.domain.ext domain has SSL and is working now but not the regular domain. Let me know if I can provide anything that might help figure it out.

I would expect the tool to automatically remove those, so not seeing them after the process is complete is normal.

I'd recommend scanning that specific domain with a tool like intodns.com to see if there are any DNS issues - any problems that show up there will likely keep the AutoSSL tool from working properly.

I tried this but as far as I can tell it only shows warnings, nothing that should cause issues. I'm not an expert however.

I removed the link from the post for security reasons, but no, that looks great to me.  It might be time to create a ticket to have this checked out.

Oh apologies, and thank you! I can't unfortunately as cPanel is through a provider, so I only have access to the forum and not direct support, I tried already :(

You can always reach out to your host/license provider for assistance!

Tried, they apparently don't offer support I'm afraid. So I'm completely at a loss. But appreciate your help, thank you for trying!

Can you please email cs@cpanel.net with the information about your license provider and reference this thread?  Them not offering any level of support isn't really an option :D
