CPANEL-43741 - Shared Address Book not functioning
AnsweredHello!
I am on cPanel ver 116.0.9 with CCS Server Tools installed and working correctly. I am able to see and use the CalDAV calendar and CardDAV address book via both the Roundcube Webmail interface and third party clients such as Thunderbird.
Problem:
After enabling the toggle for “Share the System-managed Address Book”, I receive a success message. However, the toggle switches back to disabled or "OFF" position on screen refresh.
This also means that the Shared Address Book is not available to the other non-system accounts, which used to be the case before ver 108.
Is this a feature that is not yet fully supported?
Or a configuration issue on the hosting provider side?

Hey there! I confirmed this behavior on my end and filed case CPANEL-43741 with our developers so they can take a look at this. I don't have a workaround at this time but I'll be sure to post here again if I hear something on my end!

Thanks for the confirmation!
I will keep an eye out for an update on CPANEL-43741.

With the cpdavd Service replacing CCS Plugin in cPanel 120.0.0, this issue is no longer valid for me.
The new "Calendars and Contacts Sharing interface" is working correctly and I am able to share Calendars and Address Books as required.
Please feel free to mark this issue as Closed.
