HI,
I am using this link to install ImagePagick in my WHK running on Centos 7 (Redhat). I am double checking one thing to ensure I don;t mess up the upgrade.

Can someone confirm that the command pictured in the attached screenshot that I need to Install the package before I use the WHM Module Installers in sed in the Terminal in WHM. I was told by by Web Host that I want to keep everything within WHM so I don;t mess up the CPANEL. ANy thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there! I can confirm that is the correct command, as that is exactly what we use in our documentation:
https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/360037048673-How-to-Install-ImageMagick-for-EA-PHP
I would encourage you to get off CentOS 7 sooner than later and update to a new operating system.

Hi CPrex,
Thanks for your help. Just to clarify, I type the yum install command as pictured in the WHM Terminal within WHM. I know it is a basic questions but I am new to Linux, etc. My hosting company really advised me against install anything outside of CPANEL using a terminal. I am assuming since they said, do it through WHM, that is the terminal there is the only place to actually use that command.
And while I have your attention, which version should I upgrade to? WHat is the best coming from Centos 7?

That's correct - just put the command in exactly as shown and it will work fine.
We're currently recommending AlmaLinux 8 or 9 for new installations, as that will feel much like CentOS to users familiar with that.

Thanks for clarifying. I am currently in the process of launching my website and in the middle of a build with my CMS. Can you upgrade to oner of those versions somewhat painlessly without impacting the website or should I update now and then finish the build?

If you haven't pushed anything live, I'd do that OS update first. We do have the ELevate tool here (https://cpanel.github.io/elevate/) but if you don't have to risk it and can start fresh that is the safest and easiest option.

Is there a link you can send me about doing a resh update?

Not really? A true "fresh" update would be installing a new server.
