PHPMyAdmin continually loads, MySQL cannot grant permissions with new users/dbs

I have been having issues with PHPMyAdmin not loading properly, and now when I create new databases in mysql and new users, I cannot grant them access to the databases. On the backend in WHM, I cannot edit the users or databases of any accounts. I get this error:

 

API failure: (XID umjqvj) Although the system’s database map includes a MySQL database named “XXX”, the MySQL server reported that no database with this name exists. Contact your system administrator.

 

I do not know how to fix or resolve this issue. I have a server through CloudSouth, and my CPanel license is through them. CPanel won't let me create a support ticket to help with this issue, as it is a "shared license" through my server provider. Any advice to deal with this issue?

  Hey there!  I'm not sure what a "shared license" means, but we'll be happy to help as much as we can!  Ultimately, you may need to reach out to your provider for assistance.

  Do you see any additional details in either the cPanel log (/usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log) or the MySQL error log (/var/log/mysqld.log by default, but can be changed based on settings in the /etc/my.cnf file)?  Those are the first places I would look for help related to these issues.
