Hey there!  I did reach out to a few people about this issue, and we decided it would be best if you opened a ticket about this issue as we can't tell what is going on in the backend based on these screenshots.

    Thanks cPRex.

Did you mean a support ticket with cPanel? Or Thunderbird?

For cPanel, since I am a tenant on a shared hosting service, I cannot directly open a ticket with cPanel support.

You would need to reach out to your hosting provider so they can check things on the server side.

Glad to report that Address Book Sync is now working correctly. This happened when my hosting provider fixed another issue with CCS - Calendar Delegation Not Working. Also, I found this issue on cPanel ver 116.0.10, and my current version is 116.0.11. Not sure if the fix or the upgrade fixed this issue, or this was a happy coincidence.

However, I did have to remove all my CardDAV Address Books from Thunderbird and then readd them for the sync to start working. Please see procedure below to preserve unsynced changes in the Thunderbird Address Books.

Since Thunderbird does not allow moving / copying contacts across Address Books, I exported the Address Books with unsynced changes as CSV from Thunderbird, and then imported them into the Roundcube using Webmail -> Contacts -> Import. Please ensure to select the cPanel CardDAV (addressbook) as the target for the Import.

    Thanks cPRex for your support.

An update to my previous reply:

As of May 2024, Thunderbird has added support for direct import of contacts to CardDAV AddressBooks, and also for moving contacts across AddressBooks (Drag and Drop via mouse, no menu item for moving).
