cPanel Premier 100
Hello,
Why does the https://store.cpanel.net/ only offer cPanel Premier 100 licensing?
I wanted to get a license for 250 accounts.
Thanks,
-
Tried to call in for licensing support no one answer the phone at cpanel
I tried to contact OVH about my license they tell me I need cancel my license and buy a new license.
I have 200 users on the server and canceling the license will break the server for the time it take to get the new license.
Why does this have to be so difficult????????????

Look at here:

Up to 100 Accounts
Each Account>100 Accounts $0.40 each*so you can hosr unlimited number of accounts above 100 but they will be charged at $0.4 each per month.

So I don't do anything after buy, cPanel counts the number of accounts on the server and bills me at the end of the month?

Oooooh, Why does it not say that anywhere? Or did I miss it?
I was using OVH and they force you cancel one license so you can buy a larger licensing.
So I switch my licensing to cPanel directly. It costs about 40% more to buy from cPanel vs. OVH.
However, after buying the Premier 100 I did not see how the other 150 license would get assigned.
Now you have clarified for me, this is automated :-) as it should be.
Thanks for clarifying. Have a great day!

I bought the cPanel solo licnese thinking that it would automatically inflate the cost as I added more accounts. But no. So then I tried to upgrade in the cPanel store and it only offers 1 result in the dropdown: 100 accounts. But I only need 5 accounts.
It does not make it clear at all, or user friendly, or easy to use. Seems a lot of things cPanel are broken at the moment :0-(

There have been some upgrades to the store lately which may have affected what you could see for a brief period. If you're still seeing any issues, please contact cs@cpanel.net directly and they'll be able to help with any license concerns.

Yes, I was able to sort it out after a few hours of fretting ! But now I am facing the realisation that the billing does not auto-scale which is a severe handicap.... plus my previous host did hourly billing which I find much better for starting and stopping devices etc...

You'd need to be on the Premier license in order for the auto-scaling to happen, which just adjusts your bill automatically when you pass 100 cPanel accounts.
