Email not sending via Sitejet form
I can’t get the form to send the email. It says it sent successfully but the email never gets sent. I got the host of my website to check it out and this is what he sent
Just submitted a contact form while monitoring the server email logs… nothing. The app isn’t even trying to send an email. All I can suggest is to disable the captcha and try again. I’ve seen captchas silently fail validation a few times.
The form won’t work if I disable the captcha. So still trying to work through that issue as well. Is there a setting within cPanel that needs to be set for the form to work.

Hey there! Can you clarify what you mean by "Sitejet form" for me? Is this a form created inside Sitejet, or a part of the cPanel interface related to the configuration of Sitejet itself?
If it's something inside Sitejet itself we may need to get a ticket created and then escalate the issue to them directly.

Hi cPRex
Thank you for your reply, Yes it is the Contact Form created within Sitejet, I did contact Sitejet as well and this is their reply
Regarding the contact forms I recommend contacting the cPanel support as this might be in relation to the periphery.
I have attached a couple of screenshots

Thanks for that - I don't have much that I can do for content created inside Sitejet. We'd likely need to have a ticket opened with us, and then escalate that to Sitejet if we aren't able to get that resolved.

Thanks for the feedback. I might just go back to Wordpress if it is going to be an issue.

Hi cPRex
Sorry if I came across a bit unappreciative. I would love it if you could submit a ticket to try and get the form fix, if it can't be fixed I will move back over to Wordpress, I really do like Sitejet though.

I don't have a way to do that on my end as we/they would likely need access to the system in order to troubleshoot.

How would I submit the ticket from my end.

If you own the entire server you can do that from WHM >> Create a Support Ticket. If you don't have control over the entire machine you would need to speak with your hosting provider or datacenter and they can reach out to us.

Ok thanks, I don't own the server. I will get in touch with the owner see if he can send in a support ticket. Thanks for your help.

Andrew Hansen - I've just tried Sitejet for the first time and I think I might have found the issue. Go to the contact page and hover over the form and you should see an element such as:
Click on "Form" to bring up the form configuration (this can also be achieve by double-clicking on the whitespace in the form. About a third of the way down, you'll see the "Email" section - add your email address to the "Recipient" section. Close that configuration pane, publish your site (with the rocket ship button) and it should just work.
cPRex : Sitejet seems to default sending to <cpanel username>@<siteurl> - i.e. the "default mailbox" for the account (which in most cases will be set to "Discard") . Of course, if the user is setting it up on a subdomain then the email address defaults to <cpanel username>@<subdomain> which will usually just bounce. There is a "More->Website Settings->Data" pane which looked like it contained the site settings (it contains a randomly generated email address ending @cpanel.local) - but this email address isn't used for the form (so slightly deceptive)...
Out of interest cPRex : where should bug reports (and possibly security issues) for Sitejet be reported to - cPanel or Sitejet directly? Yes, I've only used it for less than 10 minutes and already discovered 1 UI bug (as above), a non-UI bug and possibly a security issue.... Why am I like this?

Thanks rbairwell
I will check it out

Issues with the Sitejet builder should come to us!

Hi rbairwell
I went into the settings you suggested and that fixed the issue, everything is working now. Thanks for your help.

Thanks cPRex - ticket 95193456 with 8 issues opened :) Admittedly, the one that "caught my eye" initially was a false positive - but there's still a few bugs which pose a small security risk.

Thanks so much - I'm following along with that and I've left a note of my own there.

How can we integrate smtp to the same? As our hosting has phpmailer functionality disabled.
