    If you are using csf/lfd you can use
    LF_CPANEL_ALERT = ON
    and
    LF_CPANEL_ALERT_USERS = all

    If you are looking for notifications for when somebody logs into your cPanel account, this can be found under cPanel->Preferences->Contact Information where you can set the notification email addresses and/or PushBullet access token - and then which notifications you wish to receive.

    If you have access to WHM and want notification when anyone logs in, then I would suggest having a look at the excellent free 3rd party ConfigServer Security and Firewall package (aka "CSF"/"LFD") in particular the following settings:

    LF_CPANEL_ALERT

    Send an email alert if anyone accesses WHM/cPanel via an account listed in
    LF_CPANEL_ALERT_USERS. An IP address will be reported again 1 hour after the
    last tracked access (or if lfd is restarted)

    LF_CPANEL_ALERT_USERS

    This is a comma separated list of accounts to send alerts for. To send an
    alert for all accounts set this to "all"

    Hope it helps!

    Thanks everyone.

    I found myself here after too much time searching:

    https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/1500009577982-How-to-enable-cPanel-login-notifications

    Which didn't help.

    I missed the fact that I needed to enter:

    LF_CPANEL_ALERT_USERS = all in csf/lfd
