SiteJet Ecommerce option missing
We have 2 dedicated servers using cPanel and they have upgraded to have SiteJet, which we love. However, it seems like the ecommerce option is missing for us and I'm not sure if I am supposed to install something in addition or not. The documentation is a mix of old verions of SiteJet and new.
Where the photos I have seen, show under the Marketing then Collections icons, there should be a "Shop" icon, but it does not exist. Is there something I need to do to activate it? I have googled for hours and have found nothing.

Gary Barr - that sounds correct to me. The licenses purchased through other providers may or may not include the Commerce button, as that is up to them. Licenses purchased directly from cPanel will have this included.

So can I buy the upgrade and use it with the cPanel included? Or do I have to license it all together? And where would I buy that it?

There isn't a way to purchase just that upgrade. You'd need to have your entire cPanel license purchased through our store at store.cpanel.net. If you have questions about the purchase process it would be best to contact our Customer Service team at cs@cpanel.net so they can help!

I'm having the same issue. On a GoDaddy VPS cPanel so it's not an issue with hosting providers or configuration. I've sent a link to this forum to both WHMCS and cPanel support.

Kevin - this forum *is* cPanel support, so I'm not entirely sure what you mean? Hosting providers have the option to turn off the Commerce option at the license level.

That's ok. I was told either by WHMCS or cPanel support that it's a licensing issue for me. Since I purchased a VPS through GoDaddy, the cPanel license was purchased through them. So they would need to request the SiteJet ecommerce option for their license or I would need to purchase a cPanel license directly from cPanel for SiteJet ecommerce to work.

Correct :D

Anyone know of companies that use cPanel on their dedicated servers and has the commerce option? Hostgator hasn't figured out how to get all their customers off of CentOS7 also, so in 30 days, we all become very vulnerable with no security updates. My personal opinion is they may be circling the drain.

I have received some feedback and clarification surrounding the commerce feature from WHMCS support and wanted to share it in hopes that it helps.
The commerce feature within SiteJet Builder is a new feature and a service that is not currently available in all regions, however, is gradually being rolled starting with Cpanel and Plesk partners (such as GoDaddy). In order for this to be enabled within the Cpanel partner account, before they are activated automatically, partners would need to reach out directly to the SiteJet Team and request the SiteJet Commerce upgrade be enabled.
To clarify further, The Commerce feature is a paid-for upgrade on top of the standard SiteJet Builder service and requires an In-App Paid upgrade to activate it for individual end users.
In this scenario, the Support team at Godaddy would need to escalate your issue internally in order for a member of their team to reach out to the SiteJet team and enable the commerce feature.

I recently migrated from being a loyal longtime client of Hostgator to GoDaddy VPS. Their dedicated VPS phone support has been very helpful. A support team dedicated to VPS and Dedicated server support. I highly recommend them.
