Deferred due to greylisting
Hi,
I get some issues with our emails, if greylisting are on and most of the emails we receive are rejected.
If I turned off the greylisting all email come inside also out.
Is there anyone available to help me?
Thank you for your time, I will be looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,
Carlos

Hey there! That sounds like normal behavior to me. Greylisting is designed to temporarily reject all messages, and then if the remote mailserver retries, they will be delivered. This helps stop spam from being sent, as spam will usually not be retried.

Hi cPRex ,
Thanks for your reply.
yes, but the problem is that since the beginning of February the emails are temporarily reject and they are not be delivered. Yesterday I turn the greylisting off than I all emails getting delivered.
But today I trun the greylisting on it again on and the same problem emerged.
Also I add some emails to the Whitelist (Emails Always Allowed)but they get also reject.
Thank you for your time, I will be looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,
Carlos

What does the Exim log show for one of the messages that is rejected? And are you saying that even if you wait they are not delivered until you disable greylisting?

Do you only have access to your one cPanel account and not the whole server? If that is the case, you'll need o speak with your hosting provide to have them check the system so they can resolve the issue.

yes I have access to the server, since 8th Feb I contacted my provider but until now the problem not solved.
That why I look for some help, maybe someone already have that issue in the past and can help me.

We'd need to see the Exim logs in order to find out more about what is happening.
