AlmaLinux OS 9 minimum PHP Version

Hello,

What is the minimum PHP Version that can be installed on AlmaLinux 9 with WHM/cPanel?

According to this article https://docs.cpanel.net/ea4/php/introduction-to-php/#php-versions minimum version is PHP 7.4.

• If your server runs AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux 9, you cannot use PHP 7.4 or earlier.

According to this article https://docs.cpanel.net/knowledge-base/experimental-software/cpanel-whm-version-112-for-almalinux-os-9-and-rocky-linux-9/ minimum version is PHP 8.

AlmaLinux 9 and Rocky Linux 9 do not support EasyApache 4 PHP versions older than PHP 8.0. For more information, read the PHP versions section of our Introduction to PHP documentation.

  Hey there!  I think those are saying the same thing.  Since you can't use 7.4 or earlier, the only options left would be 8.0 and higher.  8.0 and 8.1 reach EOL this year, so it would be best to ensure your applications are working well with at least 8.2:
