Host Access Control not working Again
Hi Everyone,
We have a DNSOnly installation running on AlmaLinux v8.9.0 with cPanel v118.0.4. I'd previously raised an incident where the host access controls weren't working which was resolved.
Previous case: https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/19163609495575-Host-Access-Control-not-working
However, I've just logged in several months later to maintain the host access control list and have found they have all been removed and upon setting them up again, found that they are again no longer working.
I've run the following script which did not resolve the issue:
/scripts/configure_firewall_for_cpanel
Firstly, was the host access control list removed at some point with a previous update?
And why is is again no longer working?
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hey there! We'll likely need another support ticket on this issue as this isn't something that should be happening repeatedly, so I can't say what the issue is or what steps should be taken to resolve it.

Thanks cPRex. I've raised a support request and will post back here with any updates so that it may help others with similar issues.

So the conclusion to this was:
- When using Almalinux/CloudLinux to disable Firewalld (don't remove the service)- Run /scripts/configure_firewall_for_cpanel to reset everything.
- Reconfigure rules via Host Access Control
