    Hey there!  It seems like there may be a larger issue with Yum on the server if it's isn't able to find those packages.  Are you able to run "yum update" on the system without an issue?

    Yes, result:

    [root@xxxxxxx ~]# yum update

    Thanks for that - at least that looks good!  Can you let me know your operating system?  Running:

    cat /etc/redhat-release

    will show the OS details.

    I don't have a good explanation as to why PostGreSQL wouldn't be available for that system.  It might be best to create a ticket so we can take a look.

    DELIGHTED! but my system is hosted at Hetzner and you have not been able to give me support. Is there any way to look at it?

    More than not available, I understand that in some configuration error it does not accept the installation directory. I have another identical server and it has postgre installed correctly.

    You'd have to contact Hetzner and then they would escalate the issue to us if necessary.
