Install roundcube plugin Sieve to filter e-mail

Hello,

I am trying to get mailsieve to work on my roundcube.

Following this post I have managed to get the filter option to appear in the roundcube but when I click on create filter I get the error:

Could not connect to managesieve server.

 

I guess that for it to work I need to configure the mail server to work with managesieve, although I have also read that Sieve isn't support on standard CPanel installs so the plugin will not work. 
 

Can someone clarify if I can use mailsieve filters in my roundcube in cpanel? And if it is possible to do it, could someone give me some indication or some site or guide to configure everything in a correct way?

  Hey there!  That is correct that Sieve isn't support in cPanel, so I don't have any information on how you could get this working.
