Does this look familiar to anyone???
[root@ ~]# yum check
ea-profiles-cloudlinux-4:1.0-69.el8.x86_64 is obsoleted by ea-profiles-cloudlinux-4:1.0-69.el8.x86_64

I'm a bit out of my area of expertise, and could use some guidance what to do next. Advice welcome.
Thank you!

Hey there! The best thing to do would be to remove the RPM and reinstall it to see if that resolves the issue:
rpm -e --nodeps ea-profiles-cloudlinux
yum install ea-profiles-cloudlinuxIf you get any warnings such as this, you can ignore it:
Removing active cpanel profiles directory.
warning: file /etc/cpanel/ea4/profiles/vendor/cloudlinux: remove failed: No such file or direct0 -
After removing the RPM, the error does go away, but comes back after reinstalling.

Thanks for the details - I also see that on my test machine.
I have reported the behavior to CloudLinux but this doesn't seem to hurt anything and doesn't cause a problem with "yum update" or "yum clean all" so you can likely ignore that output from "yum check" specifically.
