I deleted my addon domain and now one of my websites is gone! Can someone please help me get it back?

I have two websites on the same shared hosting plan, primarydomain.com (primary domain) and addondomain.com (addon domain) when I went under the "addon domains" section of cpanel I noticed that I had a subdomain which was primarydomain.addondomain.com and I thought "These are two totally different websites so I don't want them to be linked together in any way" not realizing that that's actually just how how cpanel does it when you have more than one website on the same hosting account. So I deleted it like a dummy!! So now my addondomain.com website is gone!! Luckily I have a backup!! My concern is I'm worried that when I try to restore it, I will end up messing up my primarydomain.com website or restoring it incorrectly on the wrong files or something since it's an addon domain and I can't find any kind of reference on how to do this properly. Can somebody please give me some guidance on this matter? Thanks so much in advance!

    Hey there!  You are correct that the only option will be to restore a backup of the account that contains your data.  We would need to know the type of backup you have available and what level of access you have for the server - just access to this one cPanel account or root access to the whole machine.

    Once we know that we can get you some more specific advice!

    I have a one for my database? (SQL) and one for my files (WPRESS File)..I ended up re-adding the domain name and re-downloading WordPress so now I have 2 databases with the same site URL..one has some of my files and the other one has the new WordPress installation

    Thanks for the additional details - since you only have access to cPanel it would likely be easiest to contact your hosting provider and ask them to restore a backup of your site.  That would eliminate any duplicate data and get things back to how they were before.
