Can't stop cpanel/WHM from scanning for spam
Hello.
Whenever I do a test run of outbound bulk mail I first the email against a series of spam scanners outside of cpanel/WHM.
As usual, this run shows 'excellent' on several systems. However, my very own server keeps blocking them outbound identifying them as spam, which they are not.
I've checked Apache Spam Assasin settings are defaulted and Apache SpamAssassin™: Forced Global is OFF
All other settings are defaulted in:
ClamAv is temporarily off
On Cpanel (not WHM) the language is fishy, i.e., it's difficult to tell from the explanations if the cpanel settings apply to inbound or outbound and sometimes in the same sentence they go back and forth (Cpanel has never been good at literacy). Nevertheless I've temporartily turned everything off there, too.
What part of this process am I missing - my outbound bulk emails never get flagged, they are low in number, and now somehow I can't get one out of the gate.
exim_mainlog shows Warning: "SpamAssassin as xxxxxxxx detected message as spam (17.8)"
That's impossible I'm guessing 17.8 is the spam score. Truly impossible.
I managed to find the exact same message from a prevoius send and submitted it to an online spam checking service and it came back as a perfect 0.
Finally, if you google cpaneleximscanner a site comes up that shows an exploit for that phrase/program. Don't want to put it here. . .

Hi cPRex - alas, it was as you suggested it was set to scan all outbound email.
Apache SpamAssassin™: Forced Global ON
Nevertheless it has been like that in the past and never flagged any of my outbound emails.
regardless have a great rest of your day. Thanks for the patience here.
