WP clone created larger tables
HI,
I just used the Clone feature in wp toolkit, at first it wouldn't show me the select Target options, but after a few tries it worked.
I selected 'staging.mydoamin.com' as target. However WP was installed on "www.staging.. " which caused me so much trouble.
Anyway, my concern is WC order item table is double the size on the cloned db. why would table size change (and increase)? thanks
/J

Hey there! This is expected behavior when you clone a site - you get the same site but in a different location so the data will duplicate, including the database size.

Sorry I can't make sense of this. Why would cloning a DB double it's size? And why only some tables are larger not all. See screenshots.
Makes no sense should be the same data on both databases.

Why would cloning a DB double it's size?
Can you clarify exactly what you're seeing a bit - can you confirm that there are now two separate databases with the same content, but the original database has also doubled?

The cloned/second db is ~double the size according to phpmyadmin with ~double rows on some tables. It's clear in the screenshots. The larger db is the clone. Original is not changed.

Interesting - I'm not finding much about that on my end so we'd likely need to see a ticket.
