Old website intermittently appearing after Framer migration
Hi everyone,
I recently migrated my website to Framer, and I'm facing an issue where the old website fro years ago still appears intermittently for some users.
Here's what I've done so far:
- DNS: I've confirmed that the DNS settings are correctly pointing to my Framer site.
- Cache Clearing: I've cleared my browser cache and cookies, as well as the server cache (through cPanel).
-
File Check: I've checked the
public_html
directory in cPanel, but I'm not sure which file or folder I should remove.
Despite these steps, the old site still appears occasionally. The new Framer site loads most of the time, so I don't believe this is a DNS propagation issue.
I'm wondering if there might be some hidden files or configurations within cPanel that are still referencing the old site. Is there anything else I should check or any settings I might have overlooked?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

Hey there! I'm not familiar with Framer, but it looks like a place where the website is hosted and it's not in any way related to your cPanel server, correct?
If so, I'm wondering if there is any odd local caching if you are the only person seeing this - do you know if that's the case or if it is affecting other users? If the DNS no longer points to your cPanel server, there wouldn't be anything on the cPanel system that would cause this behavior.
You could completely remove the cPanel account from the server if you no longer need it, which would further confirm the issue.
You may want to scan your domain name with a tool like intodns.com just to ensure there are no lingering DNS issues.
