Can't create account

Hello, I've set up a new server but getting the below error when trying to create new accounts (or restore from backup or using the transfer tool). 

Account Restore Failed: “Account failure: Failed to create the account: domain identifier undefined at /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/536/cpanel-lib/Net/DNS/Resolver/Base.pm line 270."

I've tried updating cpanel to latest version. 

Any ideas?

  Hey there!  In the past I've seen this happen when the /etc/resolv.conf file on the server has an invalid entry.  Can you see if there is anything inside that file besides the typical nameservers?
