allow exception?: no SSL for incoming SMTP mail from just one machine / to just one inbox

I have an older network appliance (a network card on a UPS) which can send administrative / alert emails but not with SSL. I want to be able to receive these mails at one (dedicated) email address on cPanel without disabling the default requirement for SSL for any other incoming SMTP connections. Is there an easy way to do this?

I'm hoping for an easier solution than setting up and maintaining a forwarding mail server (which speaks SSL) on the same LAN as the older network appliance.

  Hey there!  No, I don't have a way to bypass that restriction per account as that is setup in the mailserver configuration itself.
