cPanel Technical Support has been heavily impacted by hurricane Beryl and our ability to respond to tickets has been hindered as a result. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we address these delays.

A reboot has been initiated but the system status could not be determined.

Hey there!  If you aren't able to access the server you'd have to speak with your hosting provider as that indicates a problem deeper than the cPanel software.  There wouldn't be any advice we could provide on our end that would help.

Many hosts also have an SSH console you can access through your account as well, which could give you more details about the problem.

yes, i have ssh console in my hosting provider. so now what should I do?

i using whm, cloudlinux, imunify, and litespeed.

everything work fine until i "graceful server reboot". i can't acces my whm, displaying error "ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT"

Does running the following command work normally?

    /scripts/restartsrv_cpsrvd

If so, can you try and connect locally to the server to see if that works?

    yum -y install telnet
    telnet localhost 2087

If that works well, there is either a problem with the firewall on the server or an external firewall, neither of which is managed by cPanel.

Are you able to make any outbound connection to the server?  Even something basic like "ping google.com" ?

Was something corrupt when I installed WHM or CloudLinux?

This indicates that your resolvers aren't working properly, or there is still a firewall issue.  What has your host said about the problems so far?  They would provider the resolvers for the server so this is something you should be reaching out to them about.

Yesterday I asked for their help, and it can be accessed again. they helped me to fix routing.
after that I tried "graceful server reboot" again, and the problem occurred again

Unfortunately this issue wouldn't be related to cPanel so you'll need to reach out to them again.

Will after "graceful server reboot" cause the route to be damaged? If I don't use "graceful server reboot" what other alternative do I use?

No, that should not hurt anything, and isn't different from running "shutdown -r" on the command line.
