Creating links
I have a very old-style web site - Started in 2002! It is basically a word document that fits into a frame using links to excel files using ULR addresses in those link boxes, then saving as a web page and uploading to the site via CPanel. I have had to use links extensively in the past. Going back several CPanel versions ago it was easy to create a link. In newer versions its not that simple. In fact I can't do it. In CPanel I have the files. I can highlight the file. I can click on the HTML Editor and there is the ULR I want. But I can't copy and paste into the 'Insert Hyperlink' box. That's all I think I need to do but I cannot copy and paste. Not even using ctrl+c and v. So I can't load data to my site. Help please.

Hey there! Is this the box you're referring to inside the cPanel >> File Manager tool?
I didn't notice any issues when copy/pasting into that text area on my end.
I'm not sure that highlighting the file will be helpful here, but you'll just enter the full path to the URL on the web you want to link.

Hiya. Thanks for your help. The 'Link' box I was referring to is in Microsoft Word. I couldn't find the above box, you have shown, inside CPanel

I'm not sure how Word is related to the site in cPanel. Can you get me more details on what you're expecting to work?
