How to add Hostnames to let me use my domain to create custom nameservers that can be used on this and other domains

Hello All,

I have new domain on domain.com i want to use to to my whm server, in godaddy i can add IP to my doman fo example:
NS1 example.com 44.55.11.33
NS2 example.com 44.55.11.33

It's working with out any issue but with domain.com i nacn't find this option so i changed the NS to ns1.example.com and ns2.example.com but my clients facing an issue when they change the NS to my domain ns1.example.com and ns2.example.com

they got this message error: We can't save your changes because this nameserver isn't registered. Verify your entry for accuracy and check with your DNS provider that this nameserver is registered.

I'm not sure if i should make the NS for my domain in domain.com to default: NS1.DOMAIN.COM and NS2.DOMAIN.COM and change it one by one from advanced DNS? 
Please be advised it's new domain so i can't transfer it to godaddy

  Hey there!  It sounds like you need to create the nameservers at the registrar before you can start using them.  While we can't provide steps for every provider, we have a list here that may be helpful and will get you started:
